is a photographic essay which developed over the last two years on several journeys through Eastern-Europe. In doing so I found myself consistently confronted with similar motives, which reveal the unconscious influence of man in his own environment. Trying to objectively document these interventions, lead me to unterstand that every single trace which is being left in our environment, adds a characteristic mark to it. These marks require a certain response which is made through their documentation. In this excerpt a contrast between two components arise, they take the observer on a hike looking after the tracks of others.
